Bidirectional Double Deck Automatic Molding Line

In this project, two different types of chocolate can be produced at the same time thanks to two depositors on the line. The double-deck cooling tunnel enables fast production of two different varieties with less automation and optimum space utilization.

The molds are automatically loaded and unloaded in the tunnel, and after exiting the cooling tunnel, they are directed to the demolding robot. Here the demoulded chocolates can be placed in three different ways;

Mode 1: Directly onto the belt at certain intervals

Mode 2: On the plates coming synchronized from the plate feeding system

Mode 3: Into the plastic separator according to the desired number of layers

The working principle of the line is as follows,

  • Chocolate is pressed from One-Shot depositors into molds at filling temperature.
  • The molds are directed to the vibration unit to remove the air pockets and spread the chocolate.
  • The mold on one side of the molds coming out of the vibration is directed directly to the first floor of the cooling tunnel.
  • The mold on the other side is directed to the second floor with the help of an elevator. Thus, the cooling tunnel is fed by two depositors at the same time.
  • At the exit of the cooling tunnel, the molds on the first floor are directed directly to the chain conveyor.
  • The molds on the second floor are lowered down by elevator and the sensor transmits the mold arrival information and advances the chain conveyor one step.
  • At the exit of the cooling tunnel, the molds are buckled at every corner and directed to the automatic chocolate unloading robot.
  • The robot drops the unmolded chocolates onto the separators that are automatically fed from the other conveyor.
  • The empty molds enter the heating tunnel and are fed back into the system.
